There are missions where a forced landing is not an acceptable outcome — night, hard IFR, mountain terrain, over water, with your family in the back — and for those missions there is no substitute for a second engine.
This 2024 Diamond DA62, N99FL, is built for the pilot who has already reached that conclusion. It carries just 77 hours total time on airframe, engines and props, the applicable engine AD is complied with, the annual was completed in February 2026 by Premier’s Diamond Authorized Service Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL , with factory warranty through November 2026 — a virtually new airplane with nothing deferred and nothing left to your account.
Its redundancy is real : two FADEC-managed jet-fuel diesels with single-lever simplicity, backed by Diamond’s carbon-fiber safety cell and energy-absorbing seat structure. And that second engine costs you nothing where it counts. At 20,000 feet and ISA at 75% power this airplane trues 184 knots on 14.8 US gallons per hour — total, both engines. That’s 5.8 hours of endurance and 890 nautical miles of still-air range with a full one-hour reserve still in the tanks, and the onboard oxygen system needed to use that altitude is already installed.

Weather is met head-on with certified TKS FIKI de-icing, GWX 75 airborne radar (upgradeable to GWX 8000), Avidyne TAS605A active traffic, and the latest Garmin G1000 NXi Phase 3 flight deck with twin 10-inch displays, GFC 700 autopilot with yaw damper, Synthetic Vision, GTX 345R ADS-B In/Out, Flight Stream 510 and GSR 56 satellite datalink. Inside, a five-place Diamond Premium Black cabin in diamond-stitched Alcantara and black leather, with RACC II air conditioning, electrically adjustable rudder pedals and integrated tablet mounts.
