The LB is the desirable cool-running variant, further upgraded with the Merlyn automatic upper-deck wastegate and intercooler conversion — lower TITs and CHTs, higher critical altitude, stronger high-altitude cruise. New turbocharger, flow divider, and engine-driven fuel pump in 2021. Complete new exhaust system in 2025. Prop overhauled concurrent with engine — 904 SPOH. Engine zero-timed with fresh Continental logbook — full traceability since rebuild.
Airframe — 4,083 TT, No Damage History:
•Complete strip and reseal of fuel tanks by Wet Wingologists East, 2023 ($15,000) — the tank question is answered on this airplane
•New custom paint by Hawk Aircraft, 2023 (completed after the reseal — done in the right order)
•Speed brakes completely overhauled with new cables
•Empty weight 1,963.2 lbs (new W&B March 2026) — 936.8 lb useful load
