This 2008 Diamond DA20-C1 Eclipse (registration ZK-DAF) is a hard-working, conscientiously maintained example of the world's favourite composite two-seat trainer. With a factory-new Continental IO-240-B fitted in June 2023 – just 870 hours since new – and a new MT propeller with barely 216 hours, it offers exceptional value at an accessible price point. The DA20-C1 pairs a carbon-fibre composite airframe and bubble canopy with crisp, responsive handling and remarkably low operating costs. The panel combines an Aspen electronic flight display with a Garmin GTX 33X ADSB Mode S transponder and a 406 MHz ELT.
