N654KB is currently the lowest-time G5 NA SR22 on the market with an impressive 1,200 lbs useful load - particularly impressive for a FIKI aircraft with built-in O2.
The Cirrus Sweet Spot: Compared to a turbocharged SR22, the normally aspirated configuration saves about 80 lbs of turbo system weight, preserving valuable useful load. It also provides a stronger climb rate at lower altitudes, cooler engine operation, longer cylinder life, lower fuel consumption, and lower maintenance and operating costs than the turbo. If your typical mission does not require routinely operating above approximately 15,000 feet, the NA SR22 is a solid choice. And if your mission is to comfortably carry four adults and a full tank of fuel, 4KB is well suited to handle it.
Generation 5 Capability: N654KB benefits from the G5’s 200 lb gross-weight increase with an increased first-notch flap extension speed of 150 KIAS. The result is substantially more useful load and greater operational flexibility than earlier SR22 generations. Upgrade the Garmin G1000 Perspective avionics to Perspective+ NXi, and you almost have yourself a G6.
Pedigree Matters: For most of its life, N654KB has been maintained by Cirrus Authorized Service Centers, backed by a very complete and well-organized set of logbooks that tells the story of a well cared-for aircraft. 4KB also benefits from a recent annual inspection completed less than 10 flight hours ago by Houston Aviation Center, a well-known Cirrus Service Center. With a fresh CAPS parachute, seat inflators, line cutters, a freshly overhauled propeller and more, this G5 GTS is positioned for years of flying with very little anticipated near-term maintenance expense.
