Aircraft – Partially built BD- 4 kit

BD-4 is a 4 seat high performance home-built metal aircraft with cruise speed 153-162 kts on 180 hp. Can be built as tail dragger or tricycle gear. Kit includes plans and building instructions. Does not include engine, can accept 160 - 210 hp. Photos show kit for sale, plus 2 versions of the finished product.
Major parts needed to complete the kit are included, such as a full set of instructions and many full size blueprints.
Hardware includes the aluminium wing spars and fibreglass wing panels plus the 2 main gear legs.
There are a number of instruments for a basic VFR aircraft.
The BD – 4 can be built with tricycle gear or as a tail dragger - the plans show both.
No engine included - this should be purchased near the completion of the project so its time life is fresh on installation.

The kit is currently housed in a hangar in Gladstone QLD.
