Description
N32497 is a historic example of the Stearman line. It is one of only four PT-17 aircraft sold as a civilian trainer in 1941 - all others were military aircraft. It was owned and operated by the famed Parks Air College in St. Louis and ultimately came into private ownership as a west coast cropduster. Over the past nearly 50 years or so it has been owned and known by all in the Raleigh-Durham region by just 3 owners. Now ready for the next proud caretaker of this amazing piece of history.
