The latest arrival to the AT Aviation showroom is G-UAVA a striking 1967 Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche (Turbo B) that combines timeless ramp appeal with the renowned efficiency and performance that have made the Twin Comanche one of the most respected light twins ever produced. Presented in a lovely white and metallic blue paint scheme and showing just 3,280 airframe hours from new, this is an honest, well-cared-for example that offers an excellent opportunity for both touring and IFR-capable operations. With valid ARC and Annual through 2027, G-UAVA is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
The PA-30 B model introduced a number of refinements over the original aircraft, including the addition of a third side window and improved cabin appointments, helping cement the Twin Comanche's reputation as one of the most practical and comfortable aircraft in its class. This particular example offers seating for six and benefits from a recently refurbished interior finished in attractive grey leather with bespoke Comanche detailing embroidered into the seats. The cabin presents beautifully and provides a modern, comfortable environment for both pilots and passengers alike.
Under the cowlings sit a pair of Lycoming IO-320-C1A engines, each with approximately 1,560 hours since overhaul. This aircraft also benefits from the desirable LoPresti cowl conversion, enhancing both aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency while improving engine cooling characteristics. Fuel capacity is significantly increased through the addition of the 30USG auxiliary tanks and 30USG tip tanks, making G-UAVA an exceptionally capable touring aircraft with impressive endurance and range, allowing owners to make the most of the Twin Comanche's renowned fuel efficiency.
The avionics suite is comprehensive and well suited to modern touring and IFR operations, featuring a Garmin GNS 530 GPS/NAV/COM, Garmin GTX 330 Transponder, Garmin GMA 340 audio panel, along with ADF, DME and the addition of the Stormscope WX1000E and an S-TEC 60 autopilot.
