This 2010 Diamond DA20-C1 Eclipse (registration ZK-WUJ) is a low-time example of the world's favourite composite two-seat trainer. With just 2,109 airframe hours and a factory-new Continental IO-240-B fitted in December 2022 – only 853 hours since new against a 2,400-hour TBO – it offers an affordable and economical entry into Diamond ownership. The DA20-C1 pairs a carbon-fibre composite airframe and bubble canopy with crisp, responsive handling and remarkably low operating costs.
